Sleeping in the lighthouse keeper's house
Presentation
Practical information
The luxury of a Scottish lighthouse on a rugged coastline.
Welcome to the southwest of Scotland, at the tip of a long peninsula where the incredible lands of Dumfries and Galloway come to an end. The former Corsewall Lighthouse (built in 1815) has become a luxury hotel with 8 rooms offering spectacular views of the Kintyre peninsula, Arran, Ailsa Craig, and the Irish coast. The hotel has a highly regarded restaurant where tourists and locals mingle.
Caution, it is good to know that the Suites are located in a separate wing of the lighthouse. To sleep in the lighthouse, choose one of the six double rooms. In the Firth of Cromarty Room, you will sleep in the apartment once reserved for the lighthouse keepers.
