To immerse yourself in the beauty of the Baronnies circus, the lodges de la Ferme Fortia in Drôme Provençale are the dream destination. Proudly standing on the estate, the four Saharan lodges take us on a journey under the starry sky of Provence. In these open-air rooms, under canvas roofs and tulle drapes, one falls asleep in the shade of oaks with the scents of lavender and the songs of cicadas.

A lodge at the Ferme Fortia is a chic escape to take time near Nyons, because here one enjoys the calm, a sunbath by the pool, or the benefits of a Californian massage provided at the spa. With its oriental hammam in marble mosaics, indoor pool with counter-current swimming, jacuzzi, the spa becomes ours, privatized with a simple reservation.

New in 2019, the Cabane de Django, this cabin perched between meadow and pine forest, is shared by two throughout the year. At the end of the path, this promise of a romantic and cozy break in a sublime setting has joined the unusual accommodations on the estate.

At the Ferme Fortia, a charming family farm patiently restored by our hosts, there are also stables... and another idea of horseback riding. Christian and Marjolaine are known in the equestrian world for their philosophy of French horsemanship - and its teaching - and lightness training. Attending a lesson in the riding arena or going for a walk on foot or by quad bike will be the loveliest way to discover the soul of the place.

Cabane de Django, as chic as the Saharan tents, this cabin perched between meadow and pine forest is shared by two. 160cm bed, real bathroom and toilet, heated and air-conditioned, this cabin is open all year round. From €195 per night with breakfast and pool access.

At Spa time, 1h30 of private access to the jacuzzi, oriental hammam, swimming pool with counter-current swimming, €25 per person.
