Nearby, the Van Gogh bridge - formerly known as the Langlois bridge - stands as a testament to the painter's work in Arles.
To stay aboard this barge, seven double cabins are decorated in a contemporary style, each with a private bathroom and access to the spa.
Since its creation in 2003, Le Boatel has evolved, with the restaurant also becoming renowned for its musical programming on the first Friday of every month.
