Where Lozère ends and Gard begins, in the heart of the Cévennes massif, Mas Pinet engraves the most beautiful memories in the minds of all those who stop there.

Mas Pinet is the anchor point of Karine and Jade, two children of the circus: she a stuntwoman, he a tightrope walker, they met at Cirque du Soleil in Florida and decided to raise their children in the warm light of the Cévennes. The cuisine they prepare at Mas Pinet is marked by the local terroir, made from products from their garden or the village market. But these globe-trotting polyglots will also delight you with stories from the ends of the earth.

The same back and forth between the exotic and the local is found in the accommodations offered: the yurts and the tipi open a perspective on the great American plains or the vast Mongolian steppes. But the main building overlooking the estate is a typical stone farmhouse of the region. Over 300 years old, it was long used as a monastery.

For the place is conducive to meditation. The chalk cliffs bordering the valley offer tranquility as much as the gentle lapping of the river flowing through its center. Everyone can find their balance: the daring will learn to walk on a wire guided by Jade, while relaxation enthusiasts will initiate into yoga with Karine.

Rates 2016, from €50 to €70 (in July and August) per night for two in a tipi.

The price includes the night with breakfast, beds made upon your arrival, blankets, and even hot water bottles if necessary during the low season, as in the yurts there is no electric heating. Even less a TV, a trivial detail...
Two bathrooms (3 showers and three toilets) to be shared among the guests of the yurts and the tipi, all brand new, are at your disposal, as well as a washing machine and a dryer if needed (€1).

To be reserved: a delicious, organic, and local dinner at the guest table served at 7 pm (€20 per person and €10 for children under 6) and the unforgettable experience of a Tightrope Baptism with Jade (€30 per person).
