The four shikar tents are made of raw wood and unbleached cotton canvas, like the tents set up in the jungle by Kipling's characters. The balance between elegant contemporary furniture and unusual objects unearthed from faraway places is perfectly achieved; you feel at home among these travel memories that could be yours.
In the property's outbuildings, two spacious rooms are open all year round; the Petites Ecuries and the Chambre du Lac.
Those seeking to connect with the elements will enjoy spending time meditating on bamboo deckchairs by the lake before indulging in a massage session or taking a traditional yoga class in the middle of the forest. The more active ones will head to the beaches, an hour away by bike, to surf the waves.
