From their trip to Brazil in 2006, Isabel and Maxime brought back the desire to undertake a project in ecotourism, a project both cultural and showcasing the local heritage. But finding a setting that met their expectations was not an easy task... until the Pella Roca estate in the north of Tarn et Garonne became apparent to them.
Thus, on this 17th-century truffle estate, nestled among green valleys, oak trees, a dovecote, and white stone buildings of Quercy, they opened in June 2015 two spa cabins on stilts.
A design and ecological approach imagined with the help of designer and architect friends makes the space adaptable to accommodate 2 to 4 people with a high level of comfort and a charming touch of glamour. Italian shower and sanitary facilities in the bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen corner - perfect for gîte rental -, excellent insulation, a wood stove to keep these nests cozy in the heart of winter, and a panoramic terrace with a wood-fired Nordic bath.
In the 2-person package, you also get to enjoy the sauna with a panoramic view of the truffle orchard. In the family package, children will have their own small cabin with a 'secret' passage to the large cabin...
That's for the setting, but Isabel - whose professional career has been in the cultural sector - is eager to offer something more to her guests: meetings and exchanges with artists and, as a bonus, learning stone carving or creating a watercolor travel journal. Isabel and Maxime will also be delighted to guide you in discovering the mysteries of the truffle. From its cultivation to its tasting, in this region, it is a true art.
..:: New in 2017 ::.. Cabane Spa TROPICABANA, the third spa cabin transports us without leaving the terrace. A private jacuzzi heated by wood fire and a sauna complete an always cozy and serene environment.

Pricing details
Rates 2018, from €200 (low season) to €260 (weekends and school holidays) per night, including bed linen, cleaning, breakfast, wood-fired heated spa, and sauna.Cabins with a maximum capacity of 4 people featuring a 160x190 cm bed, bathroom (with walk-in shower, toilet), and equipped kitchenette.
Optional extras: Local produce basket (€35 for two), Gourmet basket (€55 for two), or the Brunch option (€35 for two), perfect for snuggling up in your cabin until noon.
If you step down from your cabin, you can enjoy the swimming pool, tennis and pétanque courts, as well as 9 hectares of woodland, truffle plantation, and heathland!
