In order to bring new life to unique industrial and commercial spaces, three Austrian architects, Theresia, Jonathan and Christian, launched the Urbanauts concept.
Former haute-couture workshops, metallurgy studios or artist studios, these ground-floor professional spaces have been superbly and cleverly renovated - with large rain showers, king-size beds - and are offered as guest rooms.
To allow tourists to explore the neighborhood and meet the locals, Urbanauts relies on the local community by entrusting them with the usual hotel services. Breakfast will be taken at the Goldegg café, two streets away, a Moroccan hammam will offer massages, etc. Thanks to the address book waiting for you, you can easily immerse yourself in the Wieden district, 4th district, which is full of places for lunch and dinner, shops, sports centers, and even workspaces.
