In 1886, Aloïs Daniel made a forward-thinking decision by opening a hotel right next to the train station that still connects Graz to Vienna, Budapest, or Ljubljana today.
After World War II, the hotel was reconstructed by architect Georg Lippert in the distinctive style of the 1950s. The bold inventiveness that still characterizes this establishment today is paired with a timeless aesthetic. The façade with its colorful balconies gives the hotel, nestled in the heart of Austria's second-largest city, an almost seaside air.
And at the top sits the loftcube, the 108th room, a 44m² space with panoramic views of the castle and its park.
