Owl, my cabin in Mayenne !
Since spring 2014, southern Mayenne also has its wooden cabins for spending a night in the foliage of century-old oaks.
'Chouettes cabanes' is the name chosen by Gwendolyne, a young woman who perched three cabins made of Douglas fir and larch wood on the family estate, La Basse-Bergerie in Pommerieux. 25 hectares punctuated by 6 lakes, numerous walking trails, and the certainty of hearing birds at dawn.
Between 4 and 5 meters high, the three cabins are built on stilts and accessible by a secure staircase. For comfort, you are pampered: bed linen, candles, LED lamps, heating, dry toilets, and a water point!
The Hulotte cabin is a cozy nest for two with a terrace to enjoy the view of the pond while having breakfast.
At the edge of a small pond and in a large meadow, the Lapone cabin accommodates 2 to 4 people (1 double bed on the mezzanine and 2 single beds).
L'Oural is a very beautiful round cabin, accessible by a spiral staircase and a footbridge between two oaks (1 double bed and 1 single bed).
A Chouette roulotte made entirely of pine also welcomes 2 to 3 people for a rustic night. Good to know, upon request, it can be moved closer to a cabin to share this experience on the Domaine de la Basse-Bergerie.
Starting at 8:30 am, a breakfast prepared with local products will be delivered in front of your cabin. A basket, a pulley, it’s your move. The day starts well!

Ural, Hulotte or Lapone Cabins, from €115 to €135 per night for two (excluding July-August), breakfast, bed linen included, candles and LED.
The cabins are insulated, heated, equipped with dry toilets and a water reserve.

For each additional person, €20 to €30 depending on age.
Free for a child under 2 years (breakfast not included).
Pets under 10 kg are graciously accepted.
