Recharge at the source! The story of a water once famous at Fontaine Vineuse.
The sparkling mineral water is no longer marketed today, but the spring still flows at Font Vineuse.
La Font Vineuse enjoyed its heyday until the 1970s, even being dubbed the seventh wonder of Dauphiné in the last century. 13 million liters annually bottled (!), its virtues were appreciated.
In this beautiful building with a pink facade where bottles were once capped, Gérard Delmas has opened six guest rooms. These six rooms and suites with private jacuzzis overlook the vast garden of the estate. Having breakfast under the sun of the Hautes-Alpes is already a guarantee of a beautiful day.
For slightly more unusual nights, a 12-meter sailboat, a cabin perched 5 meters high in a giant sequoia, and an entirely transparent bubble await you in the garden.
The indoor swimming pool - with its water jets - shaped like a Font Vineuse bottle reminds us of the property's history, and a fountain even awaits us in the living room to enjoy the essence of the house, the tangy-tasting mineral water.
At Font Vineuse, people come to rest, recharge, and take a break as a couple in the heart of the southern Alps, between the Drôme and the mountains. And since we are in the Buëch valley (Hautes-Alpes), you can also visit the charming nearby villages or dive into the countless outdoor activities that are so varied here that everyone will find pleasure in them. Hiking, climbing, via ferrata, caving, gliding, canyoning, water bodies, Provence des Montagnes, the Tourist Office of Serrois and Haut-Buëch offers you a wide range of activities.
✯ Open from January to November ✯
