Arrival at the station of guest wagons in Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef
It’s buzzing in Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef!
Between Saint-Nazaire and the island of Noirmoutier, the Haut-Village campsite mirrors its owner, constantly innovating. Guillaume Staub is brimming with ideas, and his team brings them to life to create surreal nights for their vacationers.
In June 2014, a first passenger train from 1928, which has retained all its charm, arrived at the Haut-Village station.
Thanks to the work of this skilled team, large families and groups of friends finally found a roof to gather their big tribes.
This car, found near Cholet, now includes 5 bedrooms. Two rooms with double beds for couples, two rooms with three bunk beds each, a lounge with two benches that convert into beds, and a former TGV bar turned into a kitchen space. Not to mention a shower and original toilets!
As terraces, there’s a platform along the wagon and a wooden station specially created for it.
New in 2019, a second train hosts family reunions and seminars under the Loire-Atlantique sun. This car used to serve the Saint-Lazare station in the 80s before being forgotten at Richelieu station for about twenty years. Guillaume Staub’s inventiveness has worked wonders again with this 50-ton wagon. Belgian K3 railway car benches, compartment doors, tables and sinks from the Orient Express, two years of work, and here is a wagon full of charm and absolutely unique, allowing up to 16 people to share the extraordinary experience.
A little more patience to discover what they plan to do with the helicopter and rocket spotted at the back of a warehouse...
✯ Open from early April to early November ✯
