Ready for an unusual night during your visit to Santa Claus?
How about spending a night in an igloo in an atmosphere close to 0°C while outside it's not uncommon for the thermometer to flirt with -30°C.
This is the program offered by the "Land of Snowmen" (Snowman World), a universe dedicated to ice where you can, among other things, slide down the largest ice slide in Rovaniemi, learn ice sculpting, enjoy the joys of skating in all its forms, savor an Arctic menu at the Ice Restaurant (the only fully ice-built restaurant in the Arctic Circle), toast the northern lights at the Ice Bar, and of course, spend an unusual night warm and cozy in an igloo.
Warm and cozy? Don't worry, special equipment such as the famous "extreme conditions" sleeping bag will be provided in your snow and ice accommodation.
For obvious reasons, the igloos at Snowman World are open from December to March.
